Vacations are a long-awaited time for relaxation, interesting games and hobbies. There is much more free time, however, the number of situations in which a child can find himself without proper control and independently implement even his/her most daring ideas is increasing. In order to avoid unforeseen consequences and give your children an opportunity to rest and gain strength, we recommend that you follow a number of simple recommendations:

Do not be afraid to remind what your children may already know: say the rules and regulations of behavior on the street and in public places;

Walking and playing in the fresh air perfectly strengthen the immune system and provide an excellent opportunity for communication and play. However, you should remember that during the period from 22:00 to 06:00 a child should not be on the street without an adult escort;

If your child has too much free time and he does not know what to do with himself, consider placing him in a school camp or additional associations of interests or sports sections, where he can learn something new, play and communicate with peers;

City streets are a high-risk area, so remind your child about the rules of the road: how to behave on the road, in what places and how to properly cross the carriageway, and the need to use reflective elements in the dark. Review the rules for riding bicycles and scooters;

Try to be aware of where your child is. Communicate the importance of the rule “Never talk to strangers unless absolutely necessary.” Agree that your children always tell you where and to whom they go for a walk;

Pay attention to your children’s attitude towards stray and wild animals. To avoid the risk of illness or injury, explain to children that it is undesirable to stroke or handle such animals;

Discuss the rules of conduct around the waters. Being near rivers or lakes, the child should not stand on steep and high banks, go into the water or arrange games on the coastal strip;

Review the numbers for all rescue and emergency services with the children. Make sure that the child always has the opportunity to contact you or any other adult in the family.

It is important to remember that not only through prohibitions, but also through teaching the rules and norms of behavior, you can provide your child with a calm and interesting rest, filled only with positive emotions and experiences. The rules may not be used, but every child must know them. We wish you all a great recreation and interesting experiences.
